Are you curious to know which countries are the most educated? What score did the US get? The World Economic Forum, a nonprofit foundation, will satisfy your curiosity. It has classified the most educated countries in the world in its annual Global Competitiveness Report. The WEF relied on different measures both subjective and objective to come up with an index.
The scores are from 1 to 7, they are based on secondary and higher education enrollment as well as answers from business leaders which include: To what extent does the education system in your home country meet the needs of a competitive economy? & Do companies invest regularly in training and developing their employees?
Most of these countries are European, yet, the one that tops the list is actually not! It is no surprise that Scandinavian countries are brightly present here since they hugely fund their education.
