3. Goldmyer Hot Springs, Near North Bend, Washington

If you want to go somewhere relaxing and avoid crowds at once, this is the place for you. At the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, east of Seattle, you will be able to enjoy these wilderness springs, which are owned by a nonprofit organization that makes sure that there are only 20 visitors per day. Plus, in an effort to preserve the space, there are 3 simple rules – no dogs, no smoking and no alcohol. If you really want to visit this place, you will have to make a reservation at least two weeks prior to your visit, and you will also need a Northwest Forest Pass in order to have access to the trailhead. We know, it seems too demanding, but these rules make sure that the wilderness area maintains its peace, while preserving the ancient forest with trees that are 900 years old (or even older).

4. Strawberry Park Hot Springs, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

This is the ideal place for hikers who are looking for body and soul healing. The green sceneries are absolutely dreamy in the summer, and in the winter this place looks like a postcard. Bathers be treated to a billowy vapor. Native Americans have claimed that it contains the essence of their creator, which is why it is said to rejuvenate the soul. You can even encounter cute deer and foxes visiting the Springs. And, once again, if you are not on a road trip, flight tickets to Colorado are not that expensive, so you can fancy yourself to a quiet, relaxing and cheap vacation.

5. Hot Springs Cove, Near Tofino, British Columbia

This wonder of nature can only be reached by boat or seaplane, which kind of helps keep the magic of the place. You can walk through a boardwalk trail from the Maquinna Marine Park dock until you spot the Hot Springs Cove. The trip is quite beautiful, as you will be surrounded by an old-growth rainforest of beautifully twisted cedars. There are many narrow pools, each one cooler than the other, as you start to approach the ocean, and there is also a beautiful waterfall on the site.
